State of the Union: 18 Months
Sleep: 6:30pm to 6:30am (laying in crib until 7:00am)
Eating: Oatmeal or Eggs, Toast, Fruit for breakfast, Chicken and veggies, cheese quesadillas, macaroni and cheese for lunch, apples and bananas, string cheese for dinner. Snacks on homemade smoothies, fruit, cheerios and elmo crackers.
Activities: running around, dancing, carrying jibber-jabber conversations, coloring all over the walls, starting to understand consequences, learning to give baby kiss-kiss, watching Sesame Street, obsessing over Elmo and making friends at the park...

State of the Union: 10 Months
Weight: 19 lbs. 3 oz.
Height: Daddy lost the paper from Dr. so I'm not sure.
Feeding: Cereal or scrambled eggs for breakfast, pureed meats and veggies for lunch, fruit for dinner. Snacking on chopped up grapes, peaches, blueberries, teething cookies and "organic puffs" (instead of cheerios).
Sleep: goes to bed between 5:45pm and 6:00pm; wakes up 12 hours later. She very rarely wakes up in the night anymore. Doesn't nap well.
Activity: trying to walk around, crawling very fast, standing up at the baby gates and shaking the heck out of them, walking down the hallway holding on to the wall, looking at books by herself, playing with blocks, trying to talk by saying things like "ning" and "papa" and "mama", still very smiley and laughing all the time.

Height: 26 3/4
Weight: 17 lbs. 4 1/2 oz.
gained 12 ounces and 1/2 inch in one month
currently in the 40%
Activities: sleeping great, playing with dog, bouncing in her bouncy chair, standing up while holding on to things, standing up and screaming in her crib, learning to wave, eating three meals a day, rolling around, not crawling.

State of the Union: 7 Months
Height: 26 1/4 inches
Gained 1 1/2 inches and 1 lb. this month
Currently sitting in the 50% in both height and weight
Feeding: 3 meals of solids (cereals, veggies, fruits, pureed proteins, yogurt, tofu, egg yolk)
Sleep: still waking up twice before 6am mainly because of teething and new poopy schedule
Activity: rolling, scooting around, screeching, saying mamamama and "hi", sucking on Mommy's face and pinching other people's faces, smiling and laughing a lot.

Activities: rolling around the crib, eating cereal and smushed banana (but more spitting it out than eating it), chuckling and laughing, bouncing in activity center, trying to talk, popping bubbles at mommy and me class while socializing with other babies, sitting up, teething

Weight: 13lbs. 2 oz.
Length: 23 1/2 inches
Activities: smiling, laughing hysterically, tummy time, grabbing and gripping toys, pulling mommy's hair and scratching mommy's face, trying to crawl, screaming and screeching, trying to sit up by herself, trying to roll over, noticing the dog, enjoying music and books, sleeping 12 hours at night with one feeding in between... fighting the day time nap schedule (aargh)

June and Giuliana Love LA!
Dear Junebug,
Your two and a half year old big cousin, Giuliana, came all the way from Costa Rica just to meet you and she's been taking you to all the fun spots in your hometown of Los Angeles. For this we are very grateful and we thank God for these amazing times with our family who we love very much. This week she took you to the beach, the LA Zoo, the Kidspace Museum in Pasadena and my favorite, Old Navy! But more importantly, she's been showering you with big cousin love and affection. Every time I ask her how you are she says "linda!"... that means beautiful in Spanish.
