Mommy Tips: Hand Me Down gift baskets!

There's nothing better than getting hand me downs from friends for your baby. BUT I hate showing up with everything shoved in an old grocery bag from Gelson's, it just takes all the fun out of it. After all, most of the stuff you want to hand down to your friends has NEVER BEEN USED or maybe ONCE! So why not make it presentable so it feels more special? Recently I put this little collection of goodies for my friend Heidi and her new baby girl...put them in an inflatable bath tub that Junebug grew out of. I spent about an hour cleaning the bathtub... literally with a toothpick but it was like shiny new when I was done! Another good touch was tying a little pink ribbon on every item inside the tub and covering the whole thing with cellophane paper. Voila!
