So I was at breastfeeding support group yesterday at the Pump Station and the topic came up about this new "thing". The "thing" is babies reading. That's right, ladies and gentlemen, you can teach your infant how to read now. Well, I gotta throw a flag down on this one. Can't babies just be babies? Do they really need to read??? Do they need to show up to pre-school already having read "War and Peace"? Babies reading kind of reminds me of the notion that cats can paint. I think I'm gonna pass on this one.
